This Year's Model Updates:

The 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid is all-new. The main difference between it and all other Camry models is that it has a gasoline/electric hybrid powertrain that is able to provide exceptional fuel economy. The Camry Hybrid also benefits from the 2007 Camry full redesign, as well.

Pros:
  • Roomy cabin, efficient hybrid powertrain, stronger acceleration than many regular four-cylinder family sedans.
Cons:
  • More expensive than most other Camry styles, small trunk.

  • I love this car - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

I am really suprised how much I love this car. Blue ribbon metallic is a great color. The handling is smooth and responsive. Very comfortable and quite. Yes, the truck is small but that is the sacrifice for the hybrid. I am getting 37 mpg now and hope to improve that in the future with better driving habits.

  • Great Car - Great Mileage - Happy Camper - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

Love the car, the switch from battery to gas isnt noisy, but a little jerky at first, but as you drive you forget it. Rides well, and handles great. A little soft on power but its only a 4 banger. If driven right, the mileage will be 40 highway and 45 city. You cant beat that for the size of the vehicle. I love it.

A little over a month and 3,000 miles and I have nothing but good things to say. You have to work a little at the mileage - learn how to coast into the most fuel efficient levels. I make several trips a month on the turnpike and get 38 MPG going 70 MPH. I get combined mileage of about 550 miles out of a tank of gas.

  • The best car that I have ever owned! - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

If you purchase this car you will be the envy of your neighbors. I have now had it for two months and enjoy driving it every day. I particularly enjoy driving past the gas station. The fit and finish are superb. The quiet of the car is something to be experienced. I just wish that it had a tad more trunk space and thus nirvana.

  • I love it, and not just the mileage - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

What a great car. I recently took a ~300 mile trip. Got 43 mpg one way and 41 coming back. The car drives extremely well, and is amazingly quiet.

3 tanks into my new Camry and I love it. Learning the most efficient way to drive, without totally sacrificing performance, improves mpg. Latest tank 40.5 in both city and highway situations. Only disappointment is satellite capable radio, meaning I need to get it installed. Dealer tells me it is $600. Looking for cheaper alternative.

  • Love that 40 mpg - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

In California I drove in more stop and go traffic and my mileage was 37 mpg on trips 40. Now living in Northwest and mpg has been 40 all the time until they just changed to the summer gas mixture. I have lost 1 to 2 mpg. A relative owns a 2005 Prius and she loses 2 mpg each summer also in Calif driving. It does not handle well in the snow if there is ice the traction control kicks in as soon as you start to slip so you cant use the gas to try and get out of it. It will need snow tires this next summer.

I have had my hybrid for almost 2 years now. I typically drive in the city and get 35-38 mpg depending on the time of year (use of heater or AC). Highway mpg is typically 38-40 mpg, and that is travelling around 70 mph even with the AC going. My only complaint is that there are rattles in the car, but I havent brought it into the dealer to see if it could be fixed.

  • One year and still great. - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

Will have had the Camry for one year in a few weeks. The car is great. The only problem was the same as a year ago and that is the size of the trunk. Hope this will be improved upon. Also the nav system is WAY to hard to work.

  • Very Nice - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

What a nice car. Excellent gas mileage. Very smooth and quiet ride. Roomy, excellent stereo and control access. Great A/C, comfortable seats, and $2,600 Federal tax credit. cannot beat it.
